My boyfriend and I adopted a rescue pup (Nova) in September and immediately established Bond as our regular vet. Last week, the rescue center did Nova’s spay for free. When I picked her up, she was shaking and cried for the entire rest of the day (which I know can be normal, but is important for later in this review when I compare her behaviors following the rescue center vs Bond Vet). The day after her spay (Friday the 20th), I noticed the surgery site looked herniated. I contacted the rescue vet but he said he didn’t think it was an emergency and that he wasn’t able to see Nova until Monday (today the 23rd). When he saw her today, he told us that it was in fact a hernia, however that he couldn’t fix it until Thursday as he didn’t have anyone available to help him. He gave us sedatives and said we needed to keep Nova sleepy until Thursday or else her outer glued suture would break open and she would likely die. My boyfriend and I didn’t feel comfortable with this situation — waiting another 3 days, continually drugging Nova, the risk of her surgery site opening. I want to say that the employees at the rescue center were kind and giving us the resources that they were able to — but we immediately went to Bond Vet for a second opinion. They had an appointment available almost immediately which was amazing. The vet techs / vet explained to us the risk of waiting another few days, such as her intestines being blocked and potentially dying. We opted to do the surgery with them today. They were thorough, emotionally supportive during a really difficult time for a young couple like us where Nova is our first pet, and I think they even moved appointments around to fit Nova in. They called us right after the surgery and explained that her bladder had slipped through the hernia and was bruised, so we are very very thankful that we didn’t wait any longer to get this procedure. When we picked Nova up, she looked like she was having the best time ever! Like she hadn’t even had a surgery. The employees at Bond Vet even gave her a cute bandana and a certificate of bravery. Any vet is expensive, but we would pay anything for our baby to have the excellent care she received today. My only regret is not bringing Nova to Bond sooner. We are so grateful for this group. Special thank you to Dr. Kwon, Dr. Nagle, Lexis, Gabby, and Arissa! Nova loves you ❤️

10/10. I have been to another bond location and I can say this location is so much better. They actually listen and care for my pets. I've had multiple vets repeatedly tell me things about my dog kiwi's diet, I always questioned them. So, I always ask whenever I meet a new vet and today clarified everything I've been thinking. Thank you for your amazing team!!
