A Few Notable Dog Biscuit Ingredients

  • Flours – These treats are made with both oat flour and coconut flour.

  • Strawberries – This popular fruit is rich in antioxidants that help fight free-radicals in the body, warding off various illnesses.

  • Mint Leaves – In moderation, mint is great for your pup’s breath and digestive health. According to the Continental Kennel Club, wild mint, spearmint, and peppermint are all non-toxic to dogs. The only species that you must watch out for is English pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium).

The Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour

  • 1/2 cup coconut flour

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 larger egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F and lin two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix together with a spoon until you're left with crumbly bits.

  4. With your hands, knead dough until you have a dough ball.
